45NRTH Gravdal Studded Commuter Tire Description:
The 45NRTH Gravdal Studded Commuter Tire is designed to provide strong levels of traction for slushy and icy winter time bicycle commutes. Over 216 carbide steel studs line the side and shoulder knobs for more bite on slick surfaces, and additional siping in the side and center knobs help to clear the tread of slush and debris for even more grip. When encountering a drier patch, the center tread has a ramped leading edge to reduce noise and vibration, and also helps to cut down on a bit of rolling resistance. Add in several different sizes and reflective sidewalls for increased visibility in low light conditions, and the result is a tire that will increase a riders confidence and overall safety when riding home in a winter wonderland.
