The Cane Creek Hellbender 70 Viscoset brings new patented steering stabilization to every discipline of cycling. Reducing high-frequency oscillation (speed wobble), the Cane Creek Hellbender 70 Visco headset helps to maintain control, reduce fatigue, and ride with confidence.

Note: Visco Upper Assemblies are not compatible with smooth finish steel steerer tubes. To function properly there needs to be adequate friction between the headset and the steerer tube. Visco Lower Assembly uses a proprietary crown race, other crown races are not compatible. Must use the provided crown race. My unit didn't come with an installation manual. So I went ahead and installed it anyway. I wish it did come with a printed installation manual , because the online owners manual says "Upper headset assemblies are not compatible with smooth finish steel steerer tubes. To function properly there needs to be adequate friction between the headset and steerer tube." Unfortunately, my Lectric XPeak has a smooth finish on the steerer tube, so the Hellbender 70 Visco headset doesn't do a thing for dampening the wobble that happens with this e-bike.
