The Giant Contact SL Road Handlebar is a lightweight alloy road handlebar with some unique touches to add comfort and performance. These handlebars use advanced manufacturing processes to put shaping into the tops of the handlebars to provide a more comfortable perch for hands to grab and rest on, and this shape also adds vertical compliance to take the edge off of bumps and road vibrations that are normally transmitted through the handlebars. The short and shallow drops allow for very quick position changes all around the bars, and the drops themselves feature a bit if ergonomic shaping to make it easier to control the bike on technical and windy bike rides. When you bring all of these features together the result is a set of handlebars that rival the comfort and performance of other high end bars and at a price that leaves money in the pockets.
