Giant Contact SLR Aero OD2 Stem and Cover Description:
The Giant Contact SLR Aero OD2 Stem and Cover is an ideal blend of aerodynamics, performance, and ride quality. This stem features an oversized but aerodynamic shape that was inspired by time in the wind tunnel, which results in a stem that helps a bike to slip through the air while offering impressive torsional rigidity for excellent control of the bike. Aiding in the aerodynamics is a proprietary handlebar clamp shape, internal cable routing, and the included cover to really smooth out the airflow over the cockpit of the bike. And the use of carbon fiber in the stems construction allows the designers to reduce the weight of this stem and fine tune the ride quality to help take the edge off of small impacts and road vibrations. When you are needing a different length stem to fine tune the fit on your Giant Propel, this stem helps to fine tune the fit and ride quality while maintaining the incredible aerodynamics and performance of Giant's superbike.
