Giant TCR Advanced 2 PC was designed with a focus on being lightweight, efficient, and integrated for speed by employing superior materials, construction techniques, an aerodynamic design, and an integrated mechanical component spec that aims to lend riders a competitive edge in every situation. Giant has worked to ensure that frameset, wheels, cockpit and other parts were engineered, developed and tested together to perform as a system, employing an aerodynamic profile that slices through wind as well as integrating cables within the cockpit for a non-cluttered look, that doesn't complicate maintenance. Below the cockpit, TCR Advanced 2 PC features a frame that possesses a greater stiffness-to-weight ratio than the previous generation, along with new aero tube shaping and a lighter overall weight, this uncompromising race bike delivers explosive acceleration and unyielding pedaling stiffness.
Component integration advances the relationship between frame, drivetrain, wheels, and braking. Disc-brake integration finds both frame and fork engineered with flat-mount disc-brake technology for powerful, consistent braking performance in all conditions. The Variant seatpost adds just enough compliance for a balanced, race-tuned feel on the road, while generous tire clearance (up to 33mm) and compliant wheels keep you rolling with speed on smooth or bumpy roads. Dutiful drivetrain performance is upheld by a complete Shimano 105 12-speed mechanical groupset complete with hydraulic flat-mount style disc brakes.
