Kryptonite Evolution 790 Folding Lock Description:
The Kryptonite Evolution 790 Folding Lock provides robust security in a compact folding design that can easily be transported on the bike with the included frame mount, or thanks to its compact size it can be stashed in a bike mounted bag or carried easily in a messenger bag/backpack. The links on this lock are 5.4mm thick and are constructed out of hardened steel that make this a great lock for avid commuters and for those that just want a very secure lock that can be stashed easily. When unfolded, this lock has a circumference of 90cm (or roughly 3 feet) which will allow this lock to go through the frame and rear wheel and leave room to lock it around a fixed post or bike rack. Finally, two keys are included with this lock so one key can be on the go with the lock and the other one can be left safely at home in case the primary key goes missing.
Note: It is recommended that at a minimum to run the lock around a part of the bicycle frame and through the rear wheel before locking everything to a fixed post or to a bike rack. For maximum security, take the front wheel off and put it next to the rear of the bike, then run lock through everything before securing to fixed post or rack.
