Light & Motion Vya Commuter Combo Smart Headlight & Tail Light Set (Black)
Ideal designed for absent minded urban commuters. For all others - meh:-(
- These lights are full automatic on/off. You can't turn them off manually - so transporting them in a car(rack) means they are always coming on.
- These lights aren't bright enough for open roads with high speed vehicles - my companions noted that my rear light was 'anemic'. Compared it with an Axiom 60 (lumen) tail light and it was noticeably dimmer; also had lesser side visibility.
- Permanent rubber mounting straps were quite stiff - had to use a pair of pliers to pull the rubber binding strap.
- other on-line reviewers on the Light&Motion website complained that the 'neck' of the lights snapped off while dismounting the light unit from the rubber mountings. It does look fragile
