Maxxis Rekon Race Tubeless XC Mountain Tire Description:
The latest tire in Maxxis's long line of XC tires is the new Rekon Race! This semi-slick tire borrows its tread design from the trail version of the Rekon, but with smaller and shorter knobs. You can use it as a rear tire paired with a more aggressive front tread, or front and rear for short track racing.

- EXO: Extremely cut-resistant and abrasion-resistant material layer added to sidewalls
- TR: Tubeless Ready for increased traction and lower rolling resistance
- Dual Compound: Low rolling resistance and increased cornering grip
- MaxxSpeed: Triple compound with silica filler in the rubber polymer
- WT XC: 2.4" width XC tires are compatible with internal rim widths of 25-30mm (Maxxis does not recommend using larger than 30mm rim width)
- Generally used as a rear tire. Often paired with a grippier front tire such as the Rekon
