Nick Wallace
Position: Bicycle Product Merchant
Location: Chico, CA
A merciless KOM hunter, Nick always knows the wind direction (just in case the opportunity to snipe a segment appears). A longtime roadie, he has recently taken to MTB and uses it as an excuse for his unshaved legs. On summer weekends, Nick likes to put his navigation skills to the test, traversing the logging roads of the Lost Sierra. At Performance, Nick is all about site organization and helping find the products that are right for you.
Cycling Pet Peeve:
“Leaving taillights on the flashy setting on a nighttime group ride – it’s terrible to ride behind these riders. Please, set it too solid!”
Favorite Place to Ride (Road Bike):
“The Swiss Alps take the cake. Big, steep mountain climbs are my jam and Switzerland did not disappoint.”
Non-Cycling Hobbies:
“For fun, I play piano in a jazz big band. I also love to travel, camp, and hike.”
