Great grip, solid and big surface to step on. Great pedal for the price. Giving these 4 stars because I did end up bending the spindle on a pedal strike. But as anyone who has bought OneUp gear knows, their customer service is second to none. I simply emailed them my receipt from here, a picture of the bent spindle and 3 days later I had a brand new box of pedals.

Notes: Either pin kit can be used for any version of these pedals; the "Friendly" pin kit has a taller pin nut and is safer on shoes and shins, but there is less grip and traction than the other pin kit. The bearing kits are different between the two pedal sizes, so select the bearing kit for the specific size of composite pedal you have.
