Quality Wheels Deore/DH19 Mountain Rear Wheel (Black) (Shimano HG) (QR x 135mm) (26")

I am happy with the wheel, I already have 160 road miles on it and no problems. This is a double wall which helps with strength, my last 2 wheels were also double wall, this means there is metal between the tube and spoke nuts.

This is a good option for 7 speed with spacers or 8-10 speed shimano. I put it on a 7 speed with spacers and an 8 speed with no spacers. No derailleur adjustments necessary. Very limited options for 7 speeds. Wheel was true and seems heavy duty. Spokes are heavy duty and 36 count. I got the 26" version. I had to drill out for shrader valve and sand inside hole with sandpaper on a smaller drill bit. Super easy to drill if you have skills and the proper size drill bit that is sharp. These wheels seem to be stronger than OEM from the 1990's. I don't even think the weight weenies would dislike this wheel. Double wall keeps spoke pressure off of tubes. Used Velox 22mm rim tape. Don't forget plastic spoke protector behind cassette. You will also need cassette lock ring tool and cassette pliers or chain whip.
