Rimpact Original V2 Tubeless Tire Insert Description:

Rimpact Original V2 Tubeless Tire Inserts are designed for all mountain and trail mountain bikers looking to gain the performance advantage of running inserts in their tubeless tire systems without adding a bunch of overall weight. These inserts are constructed out of a high density, closed cell, and cross linked polyethylene foam, which resists stretching and tearing for a long useful life. Additionally, this foam provides incredible tire sidewall stability, resistance to sharp impacts on the rim, and a reduction in trail vibrations transmitted to the rider. Thanks to the shape and size of these inserts, if the tire loses all of its air mid ride, the inserts will act as run flat protection for the rim and provide enough control of the bike to be able to ride to a place that will allow for the flat to get fixed. These inserts are sold either as a single insert, as a 2 pack with two of the same sized inserts, or even as a mixed size "mullet" 2 pack. Included with the inserts are specially designed tubeless tire valves with a removable core for each insert as well as a vinyl decal set for the rims.

NOTE: Rimpact tire inserts will not absorb sealant but it is encouraged to use up to an additional 25% more tire sealant to account for the amount of sealant that will stick to the surface of their inserts instead of to the inside of the rim and tire. Please follow tire and rim manufacturers recommendations for tire pressure to ensure optimal performance and durability of the tubeless tire components.
