Ritchey Comp Mini-Sliver Clip-On Bars (Black) (31.8mm)
Firstly, Performance Bicycle has amazing customer service... always timely delivers! I purchased the Ritchey Comp Mini-Sliver Clip-on Bars for an upcoming 20 mile time trail with 2,500 feet elevations gain... 15 miles of relatively flat / gradual incline and the last 5 miles of 2,000 elevation gain. I chose these bars because they are very light weight compared to other products I reviewed and easy to install and remove. I tested them out today on a similar 20 mile course and was amazed at the what a difference they made... setting personal best times on all the Strava segments along a 5 mile rolling section of the course and placing 2nd overall out of 800+ plus riders on the Strava segment. There is only one issue with the bars configuration... the forearm resting set up and related pads are way too small and not stable. Upon completion of my test ride and swapped out the platform pad holders and related pads for a Profile time trial set up I used 20 years ago during my triathlon days. My forearms are now not at risk of sliding off the pads.
