The Shimano Altus FC-R345-L Double Crankset is a lightweight aluminum crankset that is heavy on performance. This crankset features Hyperdrive SG-X chainrings that, thanks to the built in shift ramps and pins in the chainrings, are able to execute quick and smooth shifts. The aluminum crank arms attach to a stiff splined Shimano Octalink v2 bottom bracket (not included) for impressive power transfer so more of your energy goes to moving the bike forward and less into flexing the components. All of these features plus an attractive price tag make this crankset a great upgrade or replacement for cranks that have become damaged.
