Shimano XC7 Mountain Bike Shoes (Black) (Standard Width) (45.5)
A decent shoe really, and true to size. Boa system is well designed and snugs the sides in evenly. Reflective toe design actually reflects sunshine up at you, so is kind of annoying. Foot bed subtly affected my arch so I did return them.

Shimano XC7 Mountain Bike Shoes (Black) (Standard Width) (44)
I don't usually buy this brand of shoes but thought I would try and get a new pair that would fit better and relieve some aggravating toe box issues.
I only have one 70 mile ride in so far and they seem be to just what I needed. Hoping this is the pair I need for the long haul. Good quality, easy to adjust boa x 2, good sole and support.

The BOA system ensures a perfect fit. Excellent power transfer to the pedals. Got 50 miles in yesterday and no pain. I love these shoes.

Shimano XC7 Mountain Bike Shoes (Black) (Standard Width) (46.5)
I absolutely love these shoes! They fit like a glove, are light, and get lots of compliments! I especially like the BOA closures which I've never had before. Up to this point, all my biking shoes had velcro and ratcheting straps. I ride a combination of road bikes and mountain bikes. That means using two types of shoes and two types of cleats. I've found that it's not much fun to try walking in the SPD-L cleat system which are used on my road bikes. So, why not just use one system (SPD) on all the bikes? SPD cleats last practically forever and the shoes they're attached to make it easy to walk in. I highly recommend these XC7's and am extremely happy with my purchase and dealing with Performance Bike!
