The Silca SuperPista Ultimate Hiro Edition Floor Pump is a premium floor pump that combines top quality materials, precision manufacturing, and innovative design to produce an aesthetically pleasing, highly accurate, and unbelievably durable pump. Starting at the bottom, a wide Zinc baseplate is used to provide excellent stability and plenty of room to hold the pump down with a foot when the pump is in use, and the higher weight of the base will reduce the chances of the pump tipping over. An oversized Swiss analog pressure gauge is attached to this base, and a high contrast yellow needle sweeps across the attractive red and white gauge face all of the way up to 160 PSI with an astounding 1% accuracy. Running from this gauge is a braided stainless steel hose that has minimal pressure distortion and leaking, further aiding in the accuracy of the pump, and attached to the other end of that hose is Silca's incredible Hiro presta valve chuck with a low profile head shape and one hand operation that only needs 10mm of presta valve body to create an airtight seal. The alloy barrel has plenty of volume to fill larger tires quickly, but thanks to IGUS Linear Bearings, a premium full grain leather piston gasket, and robust plunger rod higher pressures are easily achieved. At the very top of this incredible pump is a lathe turned Purpleheart wood and stainless steel handle that feels incredible in the hands and adds the final luxurious touch to this wonderful piece of functional art work.
