The Specialized Mondo TLR Endurance Road Tire is a lightweight and rugged tire that has been designed to handle the abuse from all weather and/or road conditions. A dense 120TPI overlapping 3-ply casing construction with open mesh sidewall armor and an additional sub tread puncture resistant layer provides protection from punctures and the roughest of roads. In addition, this casing and a specially designed folding bead allow these tires to be set up in a tubeless set up with lower tire pressures that will allow the tire to easily conform to irregularities in the road for a smoother ride, improved traction, and to absorb minute vibrations for better comfort and less rider fatigue. On top of this robust and remarkably compliant casing is a dual density Gripton tread compound combined with a low profile tread pattern which provides low rolling resistance and outstanding tread life, as well as offering plenty of cornering grip to inspire confidence when bombing down high speed descents.
