The Specialized Torch 2.0 Road Shoe was developed for cyclists looking to step up their cycling experience with a higher-performing road shoe. Many features from the top-tier S-Works model have been folded into the Torch 2.0 to deliver comfort and performance at a more palatable price point.
Specialized created Body Geometry Methodology two decades ago to help cyclists avoid injury due to repetitive motion by aligning the foot, ankle, and hips. Science has proven that by integrating a Varus Wedge and tilting the foot 1.5mm outward, using a molded longitudinal arch support, and adding a Metatarsal Button to the insoles, Body Geometry shoes have significantly reduced cycling-related injuries. This also increases power output and allows for longer rides with fewer issues.
The added perforation of the synthetic upper helps to cool the feet during hot rides while the BOA dial and forefoot strap can be fine-tuned for a custom fit every time.
