Sugoi Evolution Bib Shorts (Black) (2XL)

I hate to say it, but Sugoi's quality has slipped markedly since I last bought these bib shorts 3-4 years ago. Received two new pairs that both had glaringly bad stitch work on the top of the chamois pads, one where a 1-2" wide space of the chamois was completely missed by the whip stitching, and the other that had a similar width portion that the stitching was less than 1/16th of a inch onto the pad and would clearly rip off if worn while vigorously peddling and on the saddle.

Also, the quality of the the chamois pads has dropped markedly from earlier versions. The chamois is not as cushioned or thick as it used to be, you can feel they compress far more than previous iterations. The material on the midsection is now way too stretchy, especially along the lumbar/lower back area that would be sloppy and slide down in active wear on a bike, let alone not providing lower torso support or compression.

It's a shame because these used to be comfortable, affordable bib shorts that wore well and had stretchy enough straps for us taller folks, something that most makers of bib shorts don't.

I absolutely love these bib shorts. I had another pair of Sugoi bib shorts (RS Pro) that I returned after wearing them a few times. They just weren't as comfortable as these. I prefer the leg grippers and the chamois of the Evolution shorts. The fabric and compression is great, too. My rides in season range from 15-75 miles.
