Nice big bags to put tools, tubes and things for the bike but also snacks, drinks and jackets. And when he pedals his feet do not hit the bags.

I really like these bags. They are super big inside. It’s cool that they come with a rain cover built-in. Once they are attached to the rack they are very secure. My only problem with it is the adapters that are used so that the bag clips onto the rack They tend to come out of the clips and if you lose one, you were kind of screwed

These panniers are really well thought out. Large capacity, flexible clip system to connect to rack and a firm back that keeps the bags away from chain. Integrated rain protection system. I filled one with a half gallon of milk, 18 egg carton, two large soup cans and a tub of soft butter. Still a ton of room left if desired. The other side filled with a dozen full size magazines, two hardback novels and a 9” U lock and 4 foot cable. Still lots of room if desired. My limitation will be the vintage Swiss aluminum rear rack, not the panniers. The bags slightly taper at the bottom and you can mount at rear of rack to avoid hitting them with your shoes. Mine had about 4” of clearance and I wear size 13 shoes. Overall, these seem like a great product.

Delivery and communication from Performance was very good and accurate.
