These shoes tenaciously grip flat pedals thanks to the Stealth® S1 rubber outsole with a Dotty tread pattern that will give a bear hug to the pedal pins, and for as grippy as these soles are they have excellent resistance to wear and tear. A stiffer sole plate helps to transfer power to the pedals and will also protect the feet from impacts and harsh landings while staying flexible enough to be able to comfortably walk off the bike. Inside the shoes, a molded cupsole hugs the heel of the foot to minimize slipping, and a compression molded EVA midsole absorbs impacts and minute vibrations that greatly improve foot comfort and endurance. Finally, these shoes sport a suede upper with mesh inserts for excellent breathability over a wide temperature range, and when combined with the classic shoe lace design these uppers offer plenty of adjustability and security to ensure you have happy feet whenever you head out on the bike.
