It was between the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 and another rack of similar capacity (2 bikes), hitch-mount, lightweight, and with a good reputation of simplicity, reliability, and post-sale customer care. Availability of bike racks is pretty limited right now, so the fact the Sherpa was in stock, AND I had a $25 discount, AND it came in white (which ended up matching my car perfectly) made the decision for me.
Apparently I bought the last one in stock!
Shipping was quick; arrived on the promised day.
Assembly using the package box AND following the directions using the included tools was a breeze.
The light weight made installation into the hitch and removal very easy.
The device that eliminates the wobble is genius!
Both my bikes (an XL Full Suspension trail bike and a custom road bike) fit perfectly and securely.
Very, very satisfied, and ready for a road trip!
