Maxxis Overdrive City Tire (Black/Reflective) (700c) (38mm)
Before you drink the kool-aid here, you might want to know that stated on this tire, but not on the Performance website entry, is this: "Max load 75kg (165lbs)". This appears in small text, not in a different color, on only one sidewall, not both. I missed it when I examined the tire prior to first mounting, since I was looking at the other side. To be fair, I'm a fit 67yrs, 6'6", 210 lbs, and I like to ride the hilliest road route possible, as fast as possible, so I'm hard on tires. I specifically bought a 38mm tire b/c a wider tire wears more durably, but I had 2 blown tubes in the first 2 rides with this tire, and I won't be using it again. The sidewalls feel too flexible, as well. Better luck to you if you try it.

Upgrading this review to 3 stars (was 1). The flats were due to an issue with my rim, not to the tire. Which leaves the weight limit. Why would anyone make a tire whose weight limit precludes a good half of the male population from using it? Why attempt to conceal it by a very muted disclosure? And this - why would anyone sell it w/o mentioning the restriction?
