Ritchey Comp Carbon Road Bike Fork Description:

The Ritchey Comp Carbon Road Fork was designed for how you love to ride. Built with High Modulus Fiber (HMF), this road fork offers superior strength without sacrificing a pleasurable road feel. Smooth internal fiber flow in the crown/steerer area delivers the best force transfer from crown to shaft and increased impact strength. The orientation of the fibers have been optimized to absorb and dissipate loads, which delivers a confident and comfortable ride. The fork also uses various fiber types based on their specific properties to manage different load types as best as possible in the areas in which they occur - such as side load, torsion and impact.

Ritchey Comp Carbon Road Fork (UD Matte Carbon) (700c) (QR x 100mm) (1" Steerer)
Combining this fork with the Richey threadless headset and SoloStreem Carbon Fiber flat handlebars in the 400/90 size is a fantastic performing upgrade to my 1991 Merlin Ti road bike with Campagnolo groupo with Zonda wheel set. I have ridden three sets of wheels and numerous sets of handlebars thru the life of this bicycle, logged over 250,000 miles and many great races around the east United States. I hope to ride many more comfortable miles with these fantastic upgrade parts.
