The Specialized Butcher Grid Trail T9 TLR Soil Searching Trail MTB Tire is designed to stay glued to the trail when aggressively tackling rocky and technical terrain. These tires utilize the Grid Trail casing, which is an all-purpose trail ready casing with a layer of bead-to-bead protection that will shrug off abrasions, cuts, and punctures while keeping the ride quality supple and the weight respectable. In addition, these tires can be set up tubeless thanks to the high tensile strength 2Bliss Ready folding bead, which will allow for lower tire pressures to be used for better traction, smoother ride quality, and even better flat prevention.
On top of the casing, a slow rebounding Gripton T9 tread compound and an optimized tread pattern featuring knobs with a block-on-block design create a tire that will dig into loose terrain and have the stability and hooked up feeling to inspire the confidence needed to achieve blistering speeds on the trail. Finally, these tubeless ready tires are safe to use on hookless rims and can be run with tire inserts for even more protection against impacts and pinch flats.
