The Specialized Chisel Full Suspension Mountain Bike is the lightest alloy full suspension bike that is 18.4% lighter than the closest competitive model. With geometry and kinematics inspired by Epic 8, the Chisel has performance features you can feel. The D'Alusio Smartweld allows Specialized to keep the weight down and strength up in this aluminum XC frame. The frame's tubes feature continuously varied wall thickness to ensure stiffness where you need it without compromising comfort and control. The 110mm of tuned suspension brings the Epic 8's advanced kinematics to the aluminum XC platform. The Chisel boasts the most efficient pedaling efficiency in its class as the steep seat tube helps position the rider in the most efficient pedaling position. The Chisel removes excess material and weight by integrating a seat tube pivot, main pivot, and BB shell into a one-piece hydroformed seat tube.
