The Specialized RapidAir TLR Racing Only Road Tire combines cutting edge construction techniques and advanced compound/tread profile design to create a very fast and lightweight race ready tire. At the heart of these tires is a unique RapidAir 120TPI turn-up casing that utilizes just two plies that overlap at the sidewall resulting in a supple ride quality, great traction, low rolling resistance, and better handling. In addition, this casing and a high tensile strength folding bead allow these tires to be set up as a tubeless tire that will further enhance the smooth ride and traction. On top of this remarkably compliant and lightweight casing is a dual density Gripton tread compound combined with an aerodynamically optimized tread pattern and smooth sidewall design which provides low rolling resistance and greatly reduced aero drag, as well as offering plenty of cornering grip to inspire confidence when bombing down high speed descents. When it is time to pay off all of the hard work and training miles, these ultra-high performance and lightweight racing tires will provide the aero and performance benefits to ensure a finish at the head of the pack.
