Solid build from Thule …it looks great…. I was initially nervous about the hitch mechanism safety but I Just took a 1200 mile ride with the bike on the rack and it performed well… I checked the hitch anchor at each gas stop but it never came loose… would have loved to see a hitch pin for more safety… perhaps on the next model update… but it has proven itself trust worthy… it is better priced than many competitors in the same class ( paid $699 from performance) .. Conclusions: very pleased with this rack… thank you performance for a great deal all around
