Built throughout the shell of the D4 helmet is an impressive array of vents that help to release built up heat and moisture with a focused front air intake system that channels high air flow through a polymer chin bar center and power grid side mesh. Anatomic cheek pads increase comfort and fit and feature a design that allows emergency removal from the bottom of the helmet in the case of extreme incident. A special EPP collarbone impact system relieves impact to the body at the base of the helmet where injury has been known to occur.
