The Roval C38 Carbon Wheels and Alpinist Seatpost help reduce road chatter and shave crucial grams all while adding to the overall quality ride. These bikes are fully built by our expert bike builders, then partially disassembled as needed for shipping. Bikes will arrive to you with some basic assembly still required. Tools for assembly and OEM pedals are included.

Specialized Aethos Expert Road Bike (Pine Green/White) (56cm)
I am very pleased wiht my bike and the service from Performance. The Aethos is very lightweight and responsive and comfortable to ride. This is my first bike with disc brakes rather than rim brakes and I like the change. The green color has been a big hit with my friends although I have to admit that I bought it in green only because that was what was on sale in my size. As for service from Performance, I am very pleased with that as well. Originally, I was told the bike was on backorder and they could not promise how fast it would come in. Three days later they told me my bike had arrived from the manufacturer and they would build it and ship it. three days later, I got a notification that the bike was on its way to me. They used a huge Bikeflights box. The bike basically came fully assembled. All I had to do was unpack it, put on the wheels and the seat, add my water bottle cages and pedals and off I went. Very easy, not technical at all. It came with some nice tools so I did not need anything new. The hardest part was figuring out what to do with the huge box. I put it on Facebook Marketplace for free with pick up and someone came and got it the next day! All in all it was a very good experience.
Note: This bicycle comes equipped with Shimano Di2 electronic shifting. Shifters and derailleurs will be set up and paired by our in-house mechanic. We recommend installing the Shimano E-Tube Project app on your smartphone. This will allow you to check battery levels, customize controls, pair devices, and update firmware.
IMPORTANT! When using the E-Tube Project app, make sure to always select "disconnect" when you are done making updates to your bike. DO NOT QUIT THE APP or walk away from the bike with your phone while updating.
